This is the most popular route in our Jakarta Walking Tour every year. We believe one of the reasons is because the old town offers beautiful ancient buildings built during the colonial time with interesting historical facts.
The walk will start with a little introduction about the area in front of one of the museums by our guide. Then we will walk passing a lot of other buildings during colonial time until we reach the most important square, Fatahillah Square. The tour ends in a jamu place located in one of the old buildings, Acaraki, to taste the new wave jamu.
Duration: 2 hours (depending on how you walk, the number of participants, and the number of pictures taken during the walk).
